Governor Yahaya Bello has reaffirm his commitment to the protection of lives and property of the people of the State.
Governor Bello stated this in a message to the burial of Pa Simon Ikutanmiwa Adebisi in Ayetoro Gbedde in Ijumu Local Government Area.
Represented by the Deputy Chief of Staff, Chief Sunday Faleke, the Governor said there is no compromise on the issue of security in Kogi State as it’s key to good Governance of any society.
He described the deceased as a man of many parts who contributed immensely to the development of his community and the State at large.
The Governor in his condolence message also urged the family especially Doctor Joseph Femi Adebisi to console himself with the fact that his father lived a fulfilled life.
The Governor who appreciated the people of Ayetoro Gbedde for their continued support to his administration assured of the State Government commitment to build a virile and prosperous State for all.
He prayed God to grant the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
Speaking, one of the children of the deceased, Doctor Joseph Adebisi described the father as a forthright, disciplined and a man of integrity who equally served God in his lifetime as the family would missed for his fatherly role of uniting all together.
Doctor Adebisi expressed appreciation to the Governor for sending a high powered delegation led by his Deputy Chief of Staff to his father’s burial and prayed for God’s continued wisdom and protection on him, his family.
