Christians have been charged to live for the service of God and humanity.

Pastor Samuel Alade of New Testament Christian Mission, NTCM, Abuja gave the charge at the funeral service of late Mrs Josephine Adenike Ajileye in Ekinrin Adde in Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi State.

Pastor Alade who spoke on the topic; “Truism of Man’s Existence” said a fulfilled and purposeful life is that lived for Christ without reservation.

He described the deceased as one whose lifestyle was worthy of emulation by all and impacted meaningfully in the lives of people while alive.

According to him, death is not the end of all mortals but the beginning of another journey into eternity hence the need for all to make peace with thier Creator.

In a remark, husband to the deceased, Pastor Johnson Iwalaye Ajileye described her as a valuable asset to the family, the church and the entire State in view of her supportive roles on all fronts.

In his vote of thanks, brother to the husband of the deceased, Justice Alaba Omolaye Ajileye while expressing appreciation to dignitaries who attended the occasion equally thanked the NTCM for standing by the family during thier moment of grief.

Dignitaries who attended the occasion include; Provost, College of Education Technical Kabba, Mrs Victoria Olushola Jagboro, Justice Samuel Obayomi, Doc,. Mrs Grace Gunwa, Doc. & Doc. Mrs Oniemayin, Doc. Imam, Evangelist Alerege and the wife of the General Overseer of the New Testament Christian Mission, Mrs Elizabeth Funke Adeboye amongst others.

Mrs Josephine Adenike Ajileye, nee Balogun, aged 62 who was born on the 12th of November, 1959 into the family of late Mr & Mrs George Balogun in Ogidi town, Ijumu Local Government Area, married Pastor Johnson Iwalaye Ajileye in 1980 and with five children died on Tuesday, the 28th of December, 2021.
