Governor Yahaya Bello has called on Students of the State Polytechnic, Lokoja yo avoid acts inimical to thier success.

Governor Bello made the call at the Polytechnic during the inspection of projects executed by the Tertiary Educational Trust Fund, TETFUND for the Institution.

The Governor urged them to be studious, avoid acts detrimental to thier well being as students and justify the huge investment of parents on them.

He stressed Government enormous investment in the education sector which enabled students of the State Tertiary Institutions graduated as at when due without disruption of academic calendar by strike urging then to invite thier friends from other parts of the country to avail themselves of a strike free institution and study in Kogi State.

He commended the Rector of the Institution, Doctor Usman Ogbo for his dexterity and commitment to improving the standard of the Institution urging him to sustain the tempo.

While praising the contractor for quality projects execution assured of more patronage of local contractors by the Government.

Projects inspected include: the academic office complex, lecture theatre and Computer Based Test, CBT, center among others.
