Kogi State Government has warned all Civil Servants to stay away from partisan politics in the internet of the State.

The State Head of Civil Service, Mrs Hannah Odiyo gave the warning while reacting to a statement credited to the Chairman of the Kogi State Labour Congress, Comrade Onuh Edoka.

She said Edoka in his address to the members of the newly constituted political steering committee charged them to drive Labour Party Membership in the State especially civil servants which the HOS stressed was aired on a private television station.

According to her, the call is against the Public Service Rule No: PSRS-030423 which forbid Civil/Public Servants involvement in partisan politics.

The HOS cautioned all workers in Kogi State to be properly guided against being misled by any group or political party.
