Kogi State Deputy Governor Chief Edward Onoja has expressed sadness over the demise of former Administrator of Bassa Local Government Area of the State, late Samuel Alumka whose sad event occurred in a fatal road accident recently.

In a condolence message signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Promise Emmanuel, Chief Onoja described Alumka’s death as tragic and painful, saying the emerging leader exited the stage of life in his prime.

” Late Samuel Alumka was an enterprising young man whose passion and love for his people will remain a beckon for other young men”.

The Deputy Governor however consoled the deceased’s family, friends, relations, and the entire people of Bassa LGA, urging them to accept Alumka’s death as the will of Almighty God which was destined to happen at this time.

He prayed that God would grant the soul of the deceased eternal rest, and those left behind, the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
