The art of Teaching has been described as a calling with great responsibilities. Wife of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor, Mrs Folu Adeboye stated this in an online message during the annual Sunday School Teachers Conference of the Church to Teachers in Kogi Province Six in Anyigba, Kogi State.

Mrs Adeboye said Teachers are special Ministers in the Church considering thier divers physical and spiritual skills in mentoring thier students who eventually becomes potential Minister of the gospel.

In their various teachings and presentations, resource persons from the Province who talked on topics such as; Skill and Re-Skill, Nothing but Excellence by Deaconess Ann Okoliko, The Teacher with a Growth Mindset by Mrs Alice Alao, Sunday School: A Viable tool for Church Growth by Mr Samuel Ajayi, The Unstoppable Teacher: Jesus Model by Deacon Agbata and Training: An Essential for Teachers in Ministry by Dr. Dayo Mejab all expressed the need for the Teachers to be well equipped with both physical and spiritual endowment to impact lives positively in God’s kingdom.

Earlier in his remark, the Sunday School Provincial Cordinator for RCCG, Kogi Province Six, Deacon Rotimi Meseko expressed appreciation to God for the maiden edition of Sunday School Teachers Conference of the Province and urged the Teachers to continue to work together as a team to move the department forward.

The conference which featured special prayers, interactive session was the maiden edition of the new Province and held at the RCCG Provincial headquarters, Power Sanctuary Parish Anyigba, Kogi State.
