This congratulatory message was conveyed in a press statement issued in Lokoja by the Chairperson, Comrade Edoka Stella, and the Secretary, Fumilayo Ibikunle.

NAWOJ Kogi applauds the democratic process that facilitated the emergence of this new leadership team and underscores the NUJ’s critical role in shaping the future of journalism in Nigeria. The inclusion of women in top leadership positions signals meaningful progress toward gender equality and brings diverse perspectives to the governance of the media sector.
