The death of the former Special Adviser on Electric Power to President Goodluck Jonathan, Joseph Makoju has been described as a great loss to the nation.

Kogi State Deputy Governor, Chief Edward Onoja stated this in a statement signed by his Press Secretary, Promise Emmanuel

Chief Onoja said late Makoju who was also a former Group Managing Director of Dangote Cement Company served the State and nation selflessly making an impact on the country’s economy.

He described him as an administrator per excellence of high integrity and God fearing whose wealth of experience would be missed by all.

According to him, the late elder statesman was also a burning torchbearer of Kogi State across political and economic divide stressing that he would be missed by all and sundry.

The Deputy Governor who commiserated with the family of the deceased prayed for God to console and grant them fortitude to bear the irreparable loss as well as grant his soul eternal rest.
