Kogi Central Think Tank Forum has felicitated with the Clerk of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Alhaji Ahmed Chogudo on his appointment.

The Chairman of the Forum, Comrade Haroun Opotu Yussuf during a visit to the Clerk in his Office in Lokoja, expressed delight over the appointment and commended Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello for the choice of the Clerk for the job.

The Chairman who was in company of other Members noted that the appointment didn’t come to them as a surprise given the track record of Alhaji Chogudo in the civil service and expressed optimism that he would do well in his new assignment.

He urged the Clerk to continue to display utmost deligence in the discharge of his official duties and leave behind enduring legacies for posterity.

The Forum Chairman harped on the need for the Clerk to give Staff welfare due priority to boost their morale and enhance productivity.

In his remark, the Clerk of the House, Alhaji Ahmed Chogudo thanked Members of the Forum for the visit and promised to continue to live up to expectation to the admiration of the Forum.

According to him, his appointment was by Allah’s providence and assured that he would work to justify the confidence reposed in him by Governor Yahaya Bello.

He also promised to give necessary support to the Forum to enable the Body achieve its lofty objectives.

Prayer was there after offered for the successful tenure of the Clerk with a promise to support him to succeed in Office.

The Secretary of the Forum, Alhaji Mohammed Sadiq, a one time Secretary to the State Government and immediate past Director- General, Bureau of Land, Hajia Ladi Ibrahim and Mr. Steven Yakubu were among members in company of the Chairman on visit.
