
Kogi State Government is to rehabilitate the Odokoro-Iyara road.
Governor Yahaya Bello disclosed this in his remark at the wedding reception of the son of the Executive Chairman of Ijumu LGA, Alhaji Taufiq Isah at Odokoro.
Governor Bello also grant immediate approval for the construction of Okoro-Ayeh-Ayegunle and Asaya-Ogidi-Ayere roads.
The Governor, who was the father of the day as well as the special guest said the request and approval was granted due to Alhaji Taufiq loyalty and unwavering commitment to the service of his people.

He felicitated with the father of the groom and prayed God to grant the new couple his blessings.
The Governor also advised them to make love and patience thier watch word in the journey of marriage.
According to him, the enabling peace in the State has given the Government the opportunity to execute legacy projects, calling for continue support of the people.
Governor Bello said security of lives and property is collective responsibility of all, urging the people to give more support to security agencies to tackle crimes and criminal elements.
He expressed appreciation to Okun traditional rulers as well as the people for thier support at all times stressing that appiontees from Okunland in his cabinet have equally lived up to expectations.
In a remark, the father of the groom, Alhaji Taufiq Isah expressed gratitude to God for the privilege to witness the wedding of his son and the Executive Governor for attending the occasion.

The groom, Abdulwahab Ayodeji Isah, also thanked Governor Bello and all dignitaries that attended the occasion.

Personalities who attended the wedding reception reception of Abdulwahab Ayodeji Isah and Temitope, son of the Chairman of Ijumu LGA include; the State APC chairman, Abdullah Bello, Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Prince Matthew Kolawole, Secretary to the State Government, Mrs Folashade Ayoade and the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Pharmacist Abdulkareem Asuku.
