Kogi State Government has restated it’s commitment to the development of the education sector.

Governor Yahaya Bello stated this in a message to the fifth Convocation Ceremony and awards of Degrees of the Federal University Lokoja.

Represented by the Secretary to the Government of Kogi State, Doctor Folashade Ayoade, Governor Bello said the State Government will continue to partner with the University to achieve set goals.

According to him, education is one of the thematic areas of the present administration with a view to give it utmost priority as no nation can develop beyond the educational attainment of it’s citizens.

On the various request by the Vice Chancellor and the Pro-Chancellor, the Governor assured of the Government determination to fulfill it’s obligations to the institution.

He charged the graduands to be a good ambassador of the University and make positive impacts on the nation as youths.
