The Executive Director Conscience for Human Rights and Conflicts Resolution, CHRCR, Lokoja Kogi, Comrade Idris Miliki has commiserate with the families, Government, students and management of Federal University Lokoja on the recent accident resulting to death of students of FUL.

Comrade Miliki in a statement described the development as ” One Death, To Many” and very worrisome especially resulting in loss of innocent lives in avoidable occurrences in the last one year.

According to the ED, the location, which hosts the Federal University, the State Polytechnic, and international market makes it vulnerable to high vehicle and human traffick on a daily basis.

He called on the Federal Government through the Federal Ministry of Works, the Kogi State Government, Federal Road Safety Corps, the Nigeria Police and other relevant stakeholders to put an end to the continued carnage on Felele road.

” The time to act is now to put an an end to the ugly trend in our dear State”
