Kogi State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, John Kayode Oyinloye has charged the Association of Licensed Private Security Practitioner of Nigeria, ALPSPN, to be proactive in exposing quacks operators.

Commandant Oyinloye gave the charge when he received executive members of the Association at the Command office in Lokoja.

He said the charge became imperative in view of the need to check their activities and bring culprits to book as the NSCDC is the only government authorized organ saddled with the responsibility of training, monitoring, supervising and issuance of license to registered private guard companies in the country as part of their constitutional mandate

The NSCDC Boss urged the body not to allow thier offices be used for any illegal activities nor their personnel stressing the need for profiling of people they engaged as well as better remuneration for their staff for optimum performance.

Speaking on behalf of the Association, Kogi State Chapter, the Chairman, Mr Musa Nbangs assured of total commitment and synergy with the Corps.

Also speaking, State Head of department, private guard companies, DCC Bum Joseph solicited for intelligence gathering and collaboration from the ALPSN in view of the present security challenges in the country.
