The people of Ogori-Magongo in Kogi State have been charged to vote overwhelmingly for candidates that will bring meaningful development to the area.

Kogi State Director General for the All Progressives Congress Campaign Coincil, APC, Pharmacist Abdulkareem Jamiu Asuku made the call at the APC stakeholders forum in Akpafa, headquarters of the Local Government.

Pharmacist Asuku said the stakeholder’s meeting became imperative in view of the need to sensitize and mobilize people across the State especially the grassroots level to vote for all APC candidates in the forth coming general elections.

He urged all members of the party to remain steadfast and united and come out massively to vote APC candidates whose utmost aim and intention is about the welfare of the people.

The DG formally presented candidates contesting for elections to the people.

In a remark, the APC Local Government Chairman, Ojo Aturu while pledging the support of his members, appealed to the campaign council to make vehicles and materials available to facilitate the ward to ward campaign of the party.

Dignitaries at the meeting include the Central Senatorial candidate, Engineer Abubakar Ohere, Accountant General to the State Government Alhaji Momoh Jibril, Commissioner for Local Government Affairs, Barrister Abdulsalami Ozigi, National and State House of Assembly Aspirants among others.
