Death has been described as a way of escape from pain and the wickedness in the world unto glory for a child of God.

The General Overseer, New Testament Mission, NTCM, Pastor James Olabode Sunday Adeboye stated this at the Commendation service for late Mrs Josephine Adenike Ajileye in Lokoja.

Pastor Adeboye who spoke.on the topic: “Death is a way of escape” with his text from 1Cor10v13, said God is faithful and will always provide a way and means of escape for his children.

He charged the congregation to be firm in their profession of Christ Jesus as thier Lord and Savior and urged those who are yet to encounter salvation in Him to do so without further delay to escape eternal damnation in hell.

The G O described the deceased, Mrs Josephine Adenike Ajileye as a committed and devoted christian, a woman of faith who served God without reservation.

Speaking earlier in thier testimonies of the deceased, Justice Alaba Omolaye Ajileye, a brother to the husband of late Mrs Josephine Adenike Ajileye described her as a prayer warrior, a role model and a faithful and dedicated wife and mother.

Justice Ajileye said Mama Funsho as fondly called would also be missed for her ability to unite family members together as well as her utmost sense of humility and responsibilities.

Also speaking, the Son of the deceased, Funsho Ajileye said he would missed her mother for her love, her unflinching support and care for the family and a life of prayers and giving she lived till her death.

Others who spoke of the deceased included Mrs Alerege, Engr Adebayo Ajileye, Chief Mrs Medupin, Prof. Funmi Ndububa, Mrs Omolayo Collins, all described her as a saint, soul winner, woman of faith, a giver, dependable leader and a teacher of the word of God who will be greatly missed for her godly qualities worthy of emulations .
