The Executive Director, Challenged Parenthood Initiative, CPI, Ms Eunice Abimbola Agbogun says the organization is collaborating with the Center for Information Technology and Development, CITD, to increase the level of COVID-19 sensitization across Kogi State.

Ms Agbogun stated this in Lokoja at the flag off of Mass Vaccination Campaign for COVID-19.

She said both organisations would complement the efforts of the major stakeholders in the health sector especially at reaching the people at the rural areas on the need to make themselves available for the vaccine.

The Executive Director the vaccine is for preventive purposes and not meant to damage the body system as being canvassed on some social media platforms.

She expressed appreciation to Governor Yahaya Bello and the NPCHDA for the priority attention given to the health needs of the people of the State especially the mass vaccination despite the fact that there has been no reported case or death occasioned by COVID-19.

Ms Agbogun pledged the resolved of her non governmental organization towards continued partnership with other relevant bodies to achieve set goals in the health sector.
