The Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Olukayode Ariwoola has restated his commitment to the physical well being of judicial workers in the country.

Justice Ariwoola stated this in a message to the unveiling of the CJN Trophy in Lokoja. Kogi State to commence it’s cup competition.

Represented by the Acting Chief Judge of Kogi State, Justice Josiah Joe Majebi, the CJN said the competition is meant to help in the wellness through sport for all round fitness on the job.

He expressed appreciation to Governor Yahaya Bello for accepting to host the competition as well as the Acting CJ for his support to achieve set goals of the competition expecting to end on the 27th of August.

In his remark, the National President, National Sports Association for Judiciary, NASAJ, Mr Emeka Ndidi said the over one week events will feature track and field events with judiciary workers from the 36 States and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja participating in the national events.

Mr Ndidi also expressed appreciation to the State Government for accepting to host the event and the unwavering commitment of the Acting CJ to the programme.

Also in his remark, Kogi State Commissioner for Youths and Sport, Idris Musa said the State Government is ready to host the games and give the needed support to NASAJ.

Highlights of the programme was the unveiling of the CJN Trophy by the Acting Chief Judge of Kogi State, Justice Josiah Joe Majebi as well the sport Kitts and group photograph.
