The Commandant General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Doctor Ahmed Abubakar Audi has been described as professional per excellence.

The outgoing Commandant of Kogi State Command of NSCDC, Commandant Suleiman Ibrahim Mafara stated this at the handing over of the Command to his successor, Commandant John Kayode in Lokoja.

Commandant Mafara said the CG has repositioned the NSCDC to cope with the present security challenges in terms of combat readiness as well as training and training and posting of qualify hands to man the Command across the country.

He expressed appreciation to him for the privilege to serve in Kogi State which has afford him the opportunity to put in his best in the State assuring of his unflinching support and cooperation at all times.

Commandant Mafara also thanked Governor Yahaya Bello for his support to security agencies especially the NSCDC in Kogi State which help in performing thier constitutional duties .

He appealed to the Governor to extend the same hand of fellowship to his successor.

While also commending all Unit Heads, Senior Officers as well as the rank and file for thier support urged them to remain focus for the task ahead and extend same to the new Commandant.
