The Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Lokoja Chapter on behalf of the body and State Chairman, Special Apostle Adebayo Olaniyan expressed deep condolences to the Royal family and entire Lokoja people on the demise of a respected and foremost monarch, the Maigari of Lokoja, HRH Alhaji Mohammed Kabir Maigari III at the ripe age of 80 years.

A statement by Lokoja City CAN signed by it’s Chairman, Pst. Engr. Hon. J O Babatunde said the foremost Roya Father contributed greatly to the development of Lokoja LGA and the relative peace enjoined and would be missed also for his wealth of wisdom.

According to the statement, CAN described the Traditional Ruler as a father to all in respective of religion, tribe and ethnicity by his commitment to the unity of all throughout his reign.

It prayed for the family of the deceased, the great people of Lokoja LGA, the Muslims Community and the State for the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
