A trailer truck has crushed one to Death at Apamsede close to Zango-Daji in Adavi Local Government Area of Kogi State on Thursday morning.

According to an eye witness, the accident occurred at the bad portion of the road while the Okada rider conveying three children to school attempted to maneuver the way fell into the moving truck leading to immediate death of one and two other children including the rider sustained serious injury.

According to the eye witnesses the Okada rider was at fault due to impatient.

Attempt by protesting youths to burn the truck was however prevented by men of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps and other security agencies who rushed to the scene to avert crisis and pave way for movement of vehicles which as at the time of filing this report has blocked making the road impassable.

The Okada rider was said to have been engaged to take the children to their School, Muslim Community Sec Sch in town due to scarcity of Keke being a market day as the deceased by name Bola was said to be a final student writing WAEC exams before the incident.
