The family of Mr and Mrs Adedayo Olayingbo has described Elder, Dcns Mrs Emily Bola Fache as great asset to this generation.

The duo gave the assertion in thier congratulatory message to Elder Fache on her 60th birthday as well as retirement from meritorious service of the Kogi State Civil Service.

According to them, the celebrant is an embodiment of love, discipline, care, hospitality and a shoulder to lean on which cannot be easily faulted to the family and the church of Christ.

Her retirement from the Kogi State Civil Service, they stressed created a great vacuum in her office in view of her professional competence and tutelage of the upcoming ones under her jurisdiction.

To the family, the Olayingbos said she is a woman of many parts, a Mother, a Counsellor, a big Sister, Aunt, a Prayer Warrior, lover of God and mankind whose impact in the family continues to ring a bell.

Below is the profile of this elegant woman of wisdom.

Elder (Mrs.) Emily Bolajoko Fache (Nee Ige) was born on July 8, 1963 in Eruku, Ekiti LGA, Kwara State to the family of Late Mr. Michael Ige Iledare nd Mrs. Marion Kehinde Ige.
Emily Fache attended Cooperative Primary School Eruku from 1970- 1976 for her Primary Education. She attended Eruku Secondary Commercial School from 1976-1981 from her Secondary School Education.
Her Tertiary education was at Kaduna Polytechnic where she enrolled for an Intermediate Certificate in Cartography in 1985/1986. She then proceeded for her National Diploma Course at the same Kaduna Polytechnic, Kaduna after the death of her Husband in 1999-2002 (Pre-ND)
In 2007-2009, Emily proceeded for her Higher National Diploma (HND) in Kaduna Polytechnic, Kaduna where she obtained her HND certificate. For want of more knowledge, she went ahead to School of Surveying Oyo, Oyo State for PDG GIS in the year 2013/2014.
After the completion of her Secondary School education in 1981, Emily sought for admission into Nursing School at the same time sought for a Job. As God would have it, she got a job in November 3, 1981 with Kwara State Agricultural Development Project, ADP as a contract staff placed on grade level 4. Her permanent appointment came in August 1, 1988 and was later deployed to Kogi State at the creation of Kogi state in 1991.
She worked dutifully with the Agricultural Development Project (ADP) up until 2011 when an Inter-Service Transfer came and was transferred to the Ministry of Environment and Physical Development now Bureau of Land and Urban Development. God helping her, she rose to the position of Chief Technical Officer (CTO) on Grade level 14 heading the Cartographic Unit under the office and leadership of the Surveyor General of Kogi State and in the Survey Department of the Ministry.
In 2021, a need arose that she was moved to head the GIS department of the Ministry where she served as the Director GIS till date of my retirement from the Civil Service.

As a Cartographer, Emily is a member of the Nigerian Cartographic Association (NCA) where she served as the National Treasurer of the association from 2019-2021 and re-elected at the Lagos Conference in 2021 where she still serves till date.

Mrs. Emily Fache gave her life to Christ in January 11982 at the age of 19 during the crusade organized by J. K. Solomon of All Nation Discilples of Christ. The discipleship class was so impactful that it gave a good background for a good Christian life and journey. It also taught her how to handle persecutions of different levels both spiritually and even in her choice and conviction maritally which made her courtship with her heartthrob last for 8 years before consent was given by parent.
Marriage made her move finally to join Living Faith Church though she had been fellowshipping with the commission since 1983 at the youth Center in Ilorin Kwara state. She was the first to be ordained as a Deaconess from Lokoja, Kogi State in 1992 by Bishop David Oyedepo. She served in the Children’s Department and headed the Unit for many years and by the help of God the Teenagers Church started under her Leadership. Her late husband, being the first associate Pastor in Lokoja Church served under Pastor Fosu Kwaye. In the early days of the church, she was privileged to serve God in various capacities which included the Marriage and welfare committee.

In 2019, Mrs. Emily served as a member of the Deacons Board which was another level of service in God’s vineyard where she served tirelessly and joyfully. In 2021 Emily Fache was ordained an Elder in this great commission. Elder Emily Fache does not only enjoy serving God but has a great passion for the Teens which endears her to them and still serves in the Teenagers church till date.

Elder Emily Fache is presently the Secretary in the Tabitha Vision and Ministry A.k.a. Widow’s Fellowship; pioneered by Mrs. Hannah Odiyo, the president. Emily Fache is a recipient of awards in recognition of her achievement, commitment and dedication.
Emily Fache is a survival of many storms of life, physically and emotionally. She has been tried and tested but Jesus Christ took her through difficult times especially after losing her husband early in marriage and at a very young age. Through it all, God’s love and mercy have always been more than sufficient. Her favorite saying is “In everything, give God thanks”

Emily Fache was married to her only husband Pastor Ezekiel Adejumo Ohize Fache in April 20, 1991. The marriage was a blessed union until her Husband was called to Glory on July 5th, 1999. The union is blessed with three wonderful children, first born, Patience and the twins Joy and Comfort. To the Glory of God, they are all graduates and married to their God ordained spouses which was one of her special prayer requests that all her children be joyfully married before she leaves the Civil Service.
